The CCM 682 by Bowers & Wilkins is a high-performance in-ceiling loudspeaker, that utiises a high-quality 200mm (8") Kevlar cone/bass midrange driver, while a delicately constructed aluminium dome tweeter sits neatly in the centre, in a circular die-cast chassis.
The speaker assembly features a 30mm coil and 100mm magnet, combine this with the Kevlar bass cone and aluminium tweeter, and the result is a highly efficient and reliable unit, with a compelling and superior sound response.
The housing of the tweeter pivots, allowing you to adjust the treble response off axis, while an integrated EQ switch enables you to alter the sound through three modes, depending on the acoustic environment and the application in which the speaker is being used.
