The CCM684 is the entry model eight-inch in-ceiling loudspeaker within the CI 600 series from Bowers & Wilkins. It comprises a two-way configuration and is designed to offer a warm, room-filling sound while retaining a discrete and almost invisible profile. It's simple to install, thanks to Bowers & Wilkins' innovative 'QuickDogs plug-and-play mounting system.

A 200mm (8inch) bass/midrange driver sits within a neat, circular ceiling chassis and comprises a high-quality, woven, glass fibre cone. This means that the driver is capable of moving vast amounts of air, while moving quickly and responsively, ultimately resulting in a larger, thicker sound with more detail and clarity. This driver works alongside a quality soft dome tweeter, to ensure that the higher-end frequencies are just as well portrayed as the bass/midrange. 

The tweeter itself sits within a pivot housing, and so is adjustable for an off-axis treble response. In addition, a three-position EQ switch has been integrated into the speaker itself, allowing you to further enhance or adjust the sound depending on the application or acoustic environment.
