The Marantz MCR510 is aimed at those customers who wish to use mobile devices such as iPhone, iPad to stream music, and are also looking for internet radio and excellent sound quality, coupled with compact, elegant design. All of the latest music streaming technology is present, including built-in Spotify. In use the M-CR510 has a luxury feel and high gloss finish in either black or black/ white that you will surely love.

Connect via a wired ethernet cable or wi-fi to your home network, and the MCR510 from Marantz is a prolific access point to an infinite amount of new digital media, should it be streamed from your PC, NAS drive or straight from the Internet. It utilises all of the features of the Melody Media: WiFi connection from the push of a single button, a new digital input for television, set top box or media server such as Apple TV, and a second rear USB to add music via USB stick, USB hard drive, or direct digital connection of iPhone or iPad, for added convenience. ALAC, 193kHz / 24bit high-res WAV, FLAC HD files, and Gapless formats are supported. Fifty of your favourite internet radio stations can be stored for great convenience, and accesssed via the free iPhone app. Airplay streaming of music on your Apple iOS device is the best way to listen to music from your iPhone, and the 510 is also DLNA certified so that Android smartphones and Windows 7/8 PC;s can stream music to the MCR510.

Also, the MCR510 has a USB port on the front which will charge your Apple gadgets, even when the unit is in standby mode. And, similar to the Melody Media, you can connect a pair of speakers directly - the power output is the same: 2x 60W. But, as Melody Stream is a new kind of product, dedicated to new digital media, it is unable to offer FM, DAB or CD playback - which in turn, makes the unit considerably more compact, and a lot slimmer. Some have even described it as being a lot more 'elegant'
