Quad Artera Stereo Power Amplifier

The Artera Stereo has been crafted from only the highest quality components and innovative construction methods. Utilising a Class A amplification design, the Artera Stereo is capable of feeding 140 watts RMS to each channel, allowing even the most demanding of loudspeakers to perform at their best. Within the unit itself, Quad's patented Current Damping technology has been used so that unwanted noise or distortion is drastically reduced. 

Artera Stereo incorporates patented current dumping technology developed by founder Peter Walker. One of few truly innovative amplifier topologies, it essentially combines two amplifiers for the best of Class A and Class B operation.

A low power class A amplifier refines the music signal while a high-power section adds grip for speaker control. Combined via a precision bridge network, these work to impose clarity and musicality of the class A output onto the power of the current dumper.
