Audiolab 6000A Integrated Amplifier

Audiolab has developed a new amplifier to join their new 6000 series, this is one very versatile integrated amp which needs to set its standards very high, so lets break them down, the 6000A comes with digital and analogue sources, wireless connectivity for any portable devices, a built-in phonostage to compliment your beloved turntable and built-in headphone amplification as well as speaker connectivity. This amplifier can pull of many pros, but it's how exceptionally well it pulls them off. The 6000A is an easy temptation without a doubt.

The 6000A shares a few similarities with Audiolabs 8300A with its rotary controls and large central OLED display, but, unlike the 8300A which cost more, the new 6000A incorporates a high-quality D/A conversion, enabling any digital sources to be connected directly without needing an external DAC. The 6000A has four digital inputs, three line-level analogue inputs, an input for your turntable, a favourite feature, wireless connectivity via Bluetooth and a dedicated headphone amp.

Audiolab 6000CDT CD Transport

The Audiolab 6000CDT is the newest CD transporter to be introduced into their new 6000 series, incorporating the same slot-loading mechanism as Audiolabs' flagship CD player, the 8300CD. Like its older brother, the 6000CDT is extremely robust and reliable. A smart feature on this transporter is that it uses a read-ahead digital buffer to reduce disc-reading failures and is able to play scratched or damaged CDs that are unreadable by other CD players

Like all the Diamond series, this is the more affordable option to opt for if you're looking somewhere to start with floorstanding speakers this where you need to be looking. Providing you will exceptional sound and also making it blend into any room when it comes to listening.

Configured in a 2.5-way system with exception crossover technology, the DIAMOND 12.3 utilises dual 130mm (5”) KlarityTM drivers for impactful yet refined mid-range and bass frequencies, while the 25mm (1”) dome tweeter delivers open and smoothly extended high frequencies.

Who is Wharfdale?

Started by a Yorkshireman, Gilbert Briggs in 1932, Wharfedale are one of the most famous loudspeaker brands in the world today. With a huge R&D department and manufacturing facility making over 200 in-house drive unit designs, they are focused on open-backed chassis technology, curved cabinets for reduced internal reflection, kevlar weave cones and powerful neodymium magnets to achieve incredible sound quality at each price point. The Diamond is the most famous and successful model to date, and lives on today with it's latest version; the Diamond 12 series.

Audiolab's 6000 series sees a number of improvements over its predecessor 8300CD range with each component having been reviewed, assessed and redefined over a number of years worth of research. More efficient materials have been used, and have been implemented in a way that allows for an even better fidelity across the board. The look and feel of the series have also been updated, resulting in a cleaner, more modern aesthetic. The 6000 series has raised the bar once again and sees drastic upgrades to what was already an industry-leading range of hifi products.
