Audiolab M-DAC Digital to Analogue Converter

The eagerly awaited Audiolab M-DAC is a cost-effective way to achieve top quality sound quality from your digital sources. Apart from USB, you can route digital music streams to it via optical (Toslink) or either of two coaxial S/P-DIF inputs. Audio outputs can be taken in analogue format via single-ended RCA's or balanced XLR connectors. A digital optical output is also provided for recording, for example. A front panel headphone socket gives easy access for private listening.

Startling dynamics, incredible levels of detail, superb stereo focus and deep rhythmic bass characterises the amazingly good sound quality of the Audiolan MDAC. State-of-the-art 24 bit 192kHz DAC's are designed into this design, ensuring clarity and freedom from distortion which characterises all of Audiolab's product range.

Who is Audiolab?

Originally created by Philip Swift and Derek Scotland over 30 years ago, Audiolab has always designed high-performance electronics at real-world prices with great build quality. The original 8000 series have been re-engineered for the 21st century and the resulting 8200 models extended to embrace digital music streaming.
