Bowers & Wilkins engineers have employed much higher quality drivers than would normally be possible in a loudspeaker of this price level - we have a 165mm woven kevlar full range driver with centre anti-resonance plug for improved midrange, and a 25mm Nautilus loaded aluminium tweeter which has double dome/ring technology with gel cushioning which delivers sweet highs and astonishing stereo images. The crossover design has been simplified over previous models as a result of the better quality drivers, which gives this model a level of transparency and finesse rare at this price, together with increased power handling and high sensitivity.

Who are Bowers and Wilkins?
