Bowers & Wilkins CM5 S2 Loudspeakers

Bowers & Wilkins produce some of the most well-regarded loudspeakers in the world, having a range of award-winning products in a number of price points. The CM series (Bowers & Wilkins' midrange speaker selection) has recently seen a drastic upgrade; implementing new technologies, new aesthetic and even an entirely new speaker; the CM6. This newly developed CM series has been dubbed 'CM S2 Series'.

The CM5 S2 sees a number of innovative technological advances from its predecessor, the standard CM5. Not only does the CM5 S2 feature Bowers & Wilkins' critically acclaimed Decoupled Double Dome Tweeter construction, but the main 165mm Kevlar cone bass/midrange driver has also seen an upgrade in the way of an Anti-Resonance Plug dustcap. This results in an unprecedented power, tempered with the a crisp and accurate response to microdynamics, allowing the CM5 to capture the true emotion of whatever sound may be playing through it. 

Every major component within the CM5 S2 has been drastically improved, including an update to internal wiring (now using high quality Van den Hul cabling exclusively), a Mundorf capacitor in the crossover and a nick-plated terminal tray. These updated components allow the CM5 S2 to deliver a superior performance. The CM5 S2 isn't just superior in terms of sound reproduction though; an update to the metal trimmings of the speaker and the option of three beautiful finishes means that the CM5 S2 is easily to implement with existing decor to become an integral part of your living room aesthetic.
