The DB1D is Bowers & Wilkins flagship subwoofer, featuring two 12" Areofoil drivers for excellent and precise bass. It uses the same Areofoil material that is found in Bowers & Wilkins' flagship 800 series speaker driver units. These massive drivers are positioned at opposing sides of the subwoofer cabinet to reduce vibrations which results in a clearer, colouration-free bass.

This fantastic subwoofer uses an all-new digital pre-amplifier, which ensures that the subwoofer works its best at all volumes. Thanks to the bespoke dynamic and room EQ parameters, this also makes the subwoofer perfect for any application; whether he DB1D was set up in a 2-channel system, home cinema or even in a home installation. 

With the accompanying application for IOS and Android, you are able to tune your DB1D to suit your room. It will offer placement tips as well as changing the speakers 'Room EQ' to suit its surroundings automatically.

Who are Bowers and Wilkins?

Bowers & Wilkins are a company who needs very little introduction, having been constructing some of the world's most critically acclaimed loudspeaker and headphone models for half of a decade. Starting at the entry level 600 S2 series, through to the new 700 S2 series audiophile range, 800 Diamond series and flagship Nautilus model.
