Apollo is an established name in the hifi furniture market in their own right, originally founded and based in Tipton, West Midlands, Apollo was a renowned and leading name in the 1970s. Atacama saw great synergy between Apollo and themselves, namely in how the design ethos of both companies is identical - to design and engineer quality hifi and home cinema furniture, with the best possible aesthetic and acoustic enhancement capabilities at the best possible price.
Atacama acquired Apollo in October 2013 and relocated them to their factory less than 50 miles from Apollo's original HQ. Using Atacama's facilities while sharing and lending technological developments and expertise, the Apollo equipment supports offer a newly refined level of quality and functionality while retaining true to their original design principles and styling. Apollo focuses mainly on quality wall-shelf designs, solid oak hifi racks and metallic speaker stands.
