Custom Design are an English-based company that design and manufacture high quality audio-visual furniture. They're a family company, who dedicate their time and energy to creating innovative, specialist HiFi and AV furniture that's not only aesthetically pleasing and long-lasting, but also anti-resonant and audio-enhancing. The Concept design exists as a neat and stylish pedestal for your quality hifi components, while also enhancing the performance of your system by keeping cross-contaminating mechanical noise and resonance to an absolute minimum.
The Concept Acoustic 400 is the flagship design within the series and once claimed a 'Product of the Year' award by HiFi Choice. It utilises a patented polymer material that is sandwiched between layers of steel (known as iRAPs). This design dampens vibration and resonance, while the viscoelastic properties of the rack absorb and dissipate noise, converting the sheer strain energy into heat.
The toughened glass shelves are available in either a clear or black finish to help match the appearance of the stand to the existing decor of your listening environment.
