The fully Recertified Bowers and Wilkins A7 is an entirely wireless hi-fi quality music system and comes with a Full Bowers and Wilkins 2 Year Warranty. The A7 utilises B&W's best-quality audio engineering and expertise knowledge on electronics and combines this knowledge and experience in to a neat and stylish box, reliant on Apple's excellent wireless streaming technology, 'AirPlay. The A7 has been described as a 'fully-fledged streaming hi-fi in a single, discreet unit'.
Playing music through the A7 is as easy as thinking about it. Simply select the speaker from the AirPlay menu and hit play on your Apple device to immediately begin listening to your favourite songs in both high-quality lossless audio and space-saving MP3 formats. You can stream audio from iTunes on your Mac or PC as well.
The A7 is able to stream (using AirPlay) music from your preferred music related apps, including Last.fm, Pandora and Mixcloud. The A7 is able to wirelessly and easily playback your music no matter, whether it be through lossless audio, MP3 or a cloud-based streaming service.
The A7 makes use of a hefty 6" Kevlar-reinforced subwoofer in order to provide a full, deep bass sound while the four high quality, specially designed stereo drivers deliver excellent dispersion and a natural sound. Combined with five dedicated audiophile Class D amplifiers, the P7 offers an exceptionally impressive audio quality and clarity.
When audio is wirelessly transmitted to the A7, its on-board 96kHz/24bit DAC reduces unwanted noise and drastically increases dunamic range to provide a more detailed and natural sound from the high-quality drive units. One of the most recognisable B&W-specific technologies used within the A7 is the use of the tube-loaded tweeters, first found in their flagship Nautilus speaker. Rear reflections within the cabinet of the unit are absorbed by the design to promise pure high frequency sounds.
The dedicated Bowers & Wilkins Control App guides you through the few steps needed to activate the unit, providing a swift and convenient set-up process.
