The Chord Clearway Digital Interconnect

The Clearway Digital interconnect makes use of Chord's specially designed VEE 3 RCA plugs, which include a PTFE insulation between the signal and return contacts. These plugs help to eradicate high-frequency noise that may otherwise be picked up by a solid metal conductor, in turn helping to retain the emotion of the music being played through to the DAC. 

This is then further enhanced by the Clearway Digital's ARAY conductor design, which intelligently reduces potential interference and internal signal reflections that may otherwise compromise the integrity of the signal being passed through. The conductors are comprised of a solid core, oxygen-free copper with a high-performance, gas foamed polyethene insulation. The conductors are further enhanced by silver-plating and are an ABS outer shell. The outer jacket optimises the protection against mechanical interference even further. 

Clearway Digital can be fitted with silver-plated VEE 3 RCA plugs, silver-plated BNC connectors and/or mono mini-jacks, that fit some miniature DACs such as the Mojo from Chord Electronics.

The standard length is 1m, with custom lengths available to order.
