Creek OBH-21mk2 headphone amplifier
The Creek OBH-21mk2 is the long awaited successor to the ever popular OBH-21SE headphone amp, but with a new twist. In addition to offering superb headphone sound quality, the OBH21mk2 can also be used as an ultra high quality single input pre-amplifier with any stereo power amp of your choice.
Solidly constructed from aluminium extrusion for low vibration and shielding and available in black or silver finish, the OBH-21 mk2 is the ideal headphone amp for those audiophiles with low impedance headphones down to 8 ohms. Fully discrete electronic class A circuitry is employed for best possible sound quality, whilst audiophile quality components such as 27mm ALPS Blue volume potentiometer allow the units best possible performance to shine through.
Individual gain settings are found on the base of the unit to ensure the gain can be tailored perfectly to your headphones - this can also be achieved when used as a pre-amplifier.
On the rear panel are three pairs of RCA phono connectors - line input, which accepts analogue audio from CD player, Tuner, network player or turntable phono pre-amp, then a fixed line level output, and finally a variable output for use as a pre-amplifier.
The universal OBH Uni power supply can operate on worldwide power supply voltages between 100-240V, and comes with a range of local adaptors to suit plug variations.
