The E-9-F subwoofer from speaker genii 'DALI' is a fairly new model and features the level of sophistication and specialist engineering one would expect from any product designed and manufactured by DALI. The SUB E-9-F utilises a large 9" woofer, capable of moving massive amounts of air with effortless power and precise detail. The cone is built from pure aluminium, meaning that the cone is rigid and durable. The heavy magnet system utilises a huge 4-layer, long-stroke voice coil.

At the very centre of this subwoofers capability, is its 170w RMS Class D amplifier, which features a highly linear response. The E-9-F acts simply as a total low-frequency extension to your existing AV system and is extremely well-fit with models in the Zensor range from DALI. You can find the E-9-F within the Zensor 1 5.1 Package. 

You can find the volume, phase and upper cut-off frequency controls on the back plate of the subwoofer. You won't find an on/off switch, however, as the subwoofer shuts itself down and powers itself up upon receiving a signal.

Who is DALI?

DALI is an acronym for 'Danish Audiophile Loudspeaker Industries. As the name suggests, DALI is a Danish company that specialises in designing, engineering and manufacturing high-end and intermediate-level audiophile speaker units. The company was founded in 1983 by a man named Peter Lyngdorf and has since expanded from the confines of Denmark, and can now be found sold all over the world as a well sought-after brand of speakers.
