Denon DCD-520AE CD player
To ensure all of the detail is retrieved from the CD, Denon's new DCD-520 CD player incorporates a number of novel features intended to maximise musical enjoyment not often seen at this entry class product:-
- a high-quality 32-bit 192kHz sampling frequency DAC to extract all of the detail from the CD
- a rigid, non-resonant case to prevent vibration from inside an outside the product from negatively affecting CD reading by the laser, or distortion of the analogue audio signal path
- separate power supplies for the analogue and digital circuits means unwanted noise from the digital side does not invade the analogue signal
- a shorter analogue signal path than the previous design helps to keep the audio output signal as clean as possible, for clearer sound quality
In an attempt to reproduce audio playback as near to the original sound as possible, Denon has engineered the DCD-520AE with a wide range of sound technology that Denon has been developing and refining for years. To produce a sound that beats the quality one would expect in its class, Denon has selectively used special components for the audio aspect, the power unit and other areas have been picked for the sole basis of their contribution to high fidelity sound. The layout for the digital circuits within the unit has been uniquely designed to give the best possible protection from unwanted radiation and to accomplish the lowest level of impedance possible. Denon engineers have taken the time to engage in rigorous and extensive listening tests to decide upon the DCD-520AE's high-precision 32-bit/192 kHz digital analogue converter (DAC). This DAC and the DCD-520AE's allocated audio circuit design that Denon has developed over a number of years beautifully recreates delicate sounds and truly turns audio signal into music.
A new ergonomic design for the remote control makes the operation more simple than ever before, whilst reduced standby power consumption and an auto power off function will reduce running costs and also enhance reliability.
