Graham Slee Jazz Club Phono Stage
The ideal phono stage for vinyl archivists or lovers of 78 rpm records, the Graham Slee Jazz Club phono stage has multiple equalisation settings to frequency correct any record curve in existence. Way before the RIAA became standard in 1954, record companies used their own equalisation as they saw fit - leading to multiple 'standard' recordings out there. But don't worry, this phono stage has eight different equalisation sets for 78's alone, not to mention EP's, 45 rpm singles and of course 33 1/3 rpm LP's.
Using the switches on the front panel, you get instant aural feedback on the EQ setting applied, allowing you to get the most natural sound possible. When set to RIAA EQ, it is exactly the same phono stage as the Graham Slee Era Gold V. The musicality is superb, even antique records are imbued with a freshness and open sound quality that defies belief.
