The Ci3160RLb-THX from well-renowned speaker manufacturer KEF utilises three highly capable and precisely engineered extended response LF drivers, each 165mm wide to provide a powerful and liquid bass response. This in-wall subwoofer has been designed not only to match the aesthetic design of KEF's in-wall/in-ceiling loudspeakers but also to complement the sonic capability of the other models within the range. The front baffle of the speaker is built from a low-resonant aluminium material to drastically reduce unwanted and unnecessary vibrations. The bass drivers used by the Ci3160RLb is derived from the same drivers found in KEF's award-winning R Series.

The Ci3160RLb-THX will provide an excellent performance in terms of enhancing and creating a dynamic bass sound, but the unit will also take some of the responsibility of the lower spectrum away from the existing loudspeakers, allowing them to focus on the mid to higher range details to provide a clear and responsive sound across the entire spectrum.

Who is KEF?

KEF is a highly renowned, multi-award winning loudspeaker manufacturer whose high-quality products can be found all over the world. KEF began in Maidstone Kent in 1961 by an electrical engineer, Raymond Cooke. KEF is named after Kent Engineering & Foundry, which occupied the KEF site previously. Raymond Cooke was created OBE by Queen Elizabeth II in 1979. KEF has produced products for the BBC, and have a vast range of products at many different price points.
