Leak became a well-known hifi manufacturer in 1963 when it launched its Stereo 30 Amplifier. For many, this amplifier became the first step up into high-quality hifi, thanks for its high performance yet budget-friendly price. Now, almost 60 years later, Leak has launched the Stereo 130 Amplflifier. Designed to merge high-quality British hifi from the '60s with modern touches, such as Bluetooth, Optical & USB compatibility.

The Stereo 130 is fully equipped to meet any music lovers demands, from vinyl to digital music. With a high-performance MM phono stage for simple connection to a turntable, CD-quality aptX Bluetooth and an array of digital inputs feeding into an ES9018 Sabre32 Reference DAC chip with a sampling rate of up to 284kHz (PCM) and DSD256.

The Stereo 130 also offers unrivalled headphone performance for the price thanks to its dedicated amplifier circuit. Also featured is Leak's signature direct switch, to bypass any unnecessary steps in its analogue circuitry for the purest signal path and sound. In addition to the customisable Bass & Treble tone controls to suit your listening environment.

Leak CDT CD Transport

The new CDT from Leak is designed to pair perfectly with their new Stereo 130 amplifier and provide the highest standard in sound quality for the price. The Leak CDT is just a CD transport, with no DAC, no Bluetooth and no gimmicks to steal its focus from its main priority, to read a CD with absolute precision and detail.

The Leak CDT uses an ultra-smooth slot-loading mechanism for smooth, easy & reliable CD loading. This CD player is carefully mounted within an electromagnetically shielded enclosure, with its own dedicated power supply to reduce any unwanted noise and interference. Along with Leak's temperature-compensated crystal oscillator, providing incredibly low digital distortion, allowing for pure CD playback as intended.

USB storage playback is also available, with full transport controls and file navigation via the controls on the front panel and on the included remote control. The LEAK CDT is compatible with FAT16 and FAT32 formatted devices and

Who is Leak?

Leak is a revered hi-fi brand that was founded by Harold Joseph Leak in 1934 and is best known for its 'point one' amplifiers in the 1950s. The brand has now been resurrected by IAG (owner of other UK brands such as Quad and Wharfedale) with two new headline products, the 130 integrated amplifiers and CDT CD player.
