The Harmony 1100 features a large, colourful 3.5\" (9cm) touch screen and a control system designed for \'one-touch\' operation. The icon-driven system is based on activities, such as \'Watch a DVD\'. Touch this icon and the remote will power up and configure your TV, DVD, and sound system, and even start the DVD!
The Harmony can control up to 15 devices and is compatible with a huge number of infrared (IR) and radio frequency (RF) devices. It can even learn commands from old remote control devices, simply by pointing them at the Harmony 1100. With the Harmony Wireless Extender (sold separately) the remote can even control devices inside cabinets or in the next room. Compatible lighting and heating devices and other complaint appliances can also be controlled, giving you complete command over your home from the comfort of your sofa.
The Harmony 1100 can be connected to a computer using USB and set up using the easy to use wizard which means that you\'ll be up and running in no time. The remote can also be updated from the internet, via a computer, using Logitech\'s ever-expanding online database which contains information and settings for over 175,000 devices from over 5,000 manufacturers. This easy to use system ensures that the Harmony 1100 never becomes out of date.
The remote is powered by a rechargeable battery, and is supplied with a handy recharging dock ensuring that the device is always charged and ready for use.
