The Marantz M-CR612 is an All-in-one Hifi system featuring two powerful 60 Watt outputs and a large array of input options. This system supports Internet radio, streaming services such as Spotify, Tidal, Amazon Music and Deezer, DAB, DAB+, AirPLay 2 and Bluetooth. The Melody X also has Denons Heos built-in. Allowing the system to be controlled by the user-friendly Heos app on both IOS and Android devices. A CD player is also integrated into Melody X, allowing for high-quality playback from your favourite CDs. A brand-new feature of the M-CR612 is its voice assistant compatibility. Amazon's Alexa, Google's Assistant and Apple's Siri are all supported, allowing your system to be controlled by your voice. This system will also work seamlessly with your TV, with two optical inputs featuring auto-sensing and support for your existing TV remote.

The MCR612 pairs well with a number of speakers thanks to its quality 60-watt amplifier. If you are looking for a compact bookshelf speaker then the Dali Oberon 1 or the Opticon 1 MKii are well worth considering, both offer a detailed, easy-listening sound with the latter offering a bigger scale and fuller bass. Who is Marantz?

Marantz is one of the world's most famous hifi brands and was started in 1948 by New Yorker, Saul Marantz, an amateur musician and audio enthusiast who was dissatisfied with the amplifier products available at that time. He decided to build phono pre-amps which could handle all manner of recording equalisations popular in the day, and his friends persuaded him to build them one too. This quickly took all of Saul's time, as he was overwhelmed with orders - the Marantz company we know today was born.
