Many of the Naim products are evolutions of previous designs, sometimes incorporating quite small changes to the mechanical or electronic design. However, these incremental changes make a large overall improvement in the music performance of each product.

Upgrading the power supply is one of the simplest yet most effective upgrade paths for any Naim hifi system. Naim power supplies combine low regulated supply voltages, quality transformers, dense and highly robust casings and where applicable Naim's superior Direct Regulator (DR) technology to offer an even more superior performance from your compatible Naim separates.

The SuperCap is arguably one of the most widely acclaimed and iconic power supplies designed and engineered by Naim, compatible with all Naim preamplifiers bar the NAC-N 172 and flagship NAC-552. The SuperCap features a substantial toroidal transformer and high-quality smoothing capacitors, guaranteeing improved sound clarity and musicality. The latest version of the SuperCap uses Naim's bespoke DR voltage regulator.
