The S2 comes with a moving magnet and a moving coil stage, this will give off incredible sound and performance for almost every modern cartridge. There casting of the Phono Box S2 plays a vital role when it comes to improved design, the casting is sturdy enough to protect the internal circuitry against unwanted interference and vibrations which will lead to unpleasant listening experiences. The S2 has four adjustable gain levels with audiophile-grade amplification modules and polypropylene capacitors. Switchable Subsonic filter and input impedance/capacitance. Who is Project?

Project started in the hifi business designing and manufacturing affordable stereo turntables in the early 1990s, beginning with the entry-level Debut model. It was a great success, like all other turntables on the market at that time were at least  £100 more expensive, without offering a performance benefit. Project has gone on to extend the range of turntables they offer at all popular price points and performance levels, through midrange to high-end models.

Further product developments include a range of compact hifi separates, turntable supports, amplifiers, tuners, iPod docks and tonearms.
