Proac Response D1 was the replacement model for the much loved, world famous Proac Response 1SC monitor. With an all new 130mm bass-midrange driver featuring an acrylic phase plug on a Proac branded chassis with a raised spider and powerful EXCEL magnet system, this speaker has an unbelievably tight but rich bass combined with a superbly neutral midrange and delicately detailed high register. Improvements to the cabinet have not been forgotten, as it is now much stiffer and weighty due to inert internal damping materials.

The slim front baffle allows superior dispersion of high frequencies giving the ability to create holographic stereo images. Audiophile grade components in the crossover give a very transparent sound quality whilst also improving the efficiency of the design by 1.5dB, great news for valve or class A amplifier users. Suitable for use with amplifiers between 20 to 100W, this monitor will bring a huge improvement in sound quality to your hifi system.
