Located on the box is a 12V trigger input which allows the amplifier turn on in tandem with Pro-Ject's Pre Box S2 Analogue, whilst the other trigger output allows for a bi- or even a tri-amplification. Housed within to improve S2 chassis, the Amp Box S2 is a premium device that belies the price.

Who is Project?

The project started in the hifi business designing and manufacturing affordable stereo turntables in the early 1990's, beginning with the entry-level Debut model. It was a great success, like all other turntables on the market at that time were at least £100 more expensive, without offering a performance benefit. Project has gone on to extend the range of turntables they offer at all popular price points and performance levels, through midrange to high-end models.
