Project's Phono Box DS is an audiophile-grade preamplifier and phono stage designed to offer superior performance, with the ability to choose between switch-able settings and utilise an integrated sub-sonic filter to prevent amplifiers/speakers from emitting unwanted low frequencies.

The Phono Box DS is a slimmer version of its more advanced sibling, the DS+. The major differences between the two models are the exclusion of a screen and gold-contact relaying switch that one would find with the DS+. The DS does benefit however from a fair more attractive price and retains the same philosophy and emphasis on high fidelity sound with easy-to-use functionality.

Compatible with both MM and MC inputs.

Who is Project?

Project started in the hifi business designing and manufacturing affordable stereo turntables in the early 1990s, beginning with the entry level Debut model. It was a great success, as all other turntables on the market at that time were at least £100 more expensive, without offering a performance benefit. Project has gone on to extend the range of turntables they offer at all popular price points and performance levels, through midrange to high-end models.
