Following vigorous and extensive research from ProJect, tempered with progressive developments and uncompromising assessments - the RPM 9 Carbon is born. Featuring an extra heavy mass-loaded chassis, utilising a decoupled design to offer a heavenly anti-resonant plynth for your favourite vinyl recordings to perform upon. The acoustically inert aluminium platter weighs 7.2kg and is beautifully polished and sonically damped (TPE), with a vinyl top and inverted ceramic bearing. This combination of high-quality materials and the intelligent and meticulous way they have been implemented into the turntable allows the RPM 9 to perform top of its class. 

The RPM 9 Carbon is further enhanced by the extra weighted outboard motor, which consists of very precise motor control, making the switch between 33 and 45 RPM an easy task. The tonearm included with the RPM 9 Carbon is ProJect's high-quality 9CC Evolution, ensuring flawless tracking and beautiful sound quality, even when paired with some of the most demanding cartridges on the market today. Also included with the RPM 9 Carbon is a 5P Connect-IT Phono CC cable with RCA plugs, and the high-quality Ortofon Quintet Black can be added at a discounted price when ordered with this turntable.
