Project's Tube Box S is a newly developed phono preamplifier, designed and constructed with a high-quality valve output stage to offer a truly superlative sonic performance, completing the level of warmth and richness that one would expect from any analogue-minded product designed by Project. Despite this sonic superiority, the Tube Box S is still moderately priced and rivals similar units at much higher price points. 

This unit is ideal for mid-priced analogue systems and has been designed with the most demanding audiophiles in mind, offering a vast improvement over the smaller Phono Box S model. There is a wide range of setting parameters to match the Tube Box S to practically any high-quality Moving Magnet or Moving Coil phono cartridge on the market today. Who is Project?

The project started in the hifi business designing and manufacturing affordable stereo turntables in the early 1990s, beginning with the entry-level Debut model. It was a great success, like all other turntables on the market at that time were at least £100 more expensive, without offering a performance benefit. Project has gone on to extend the range of turntables they offer at all popular price points and performance levels, through midrange to high-end models.
