The Quad 99 Power Amplifier has a maximum power output of 90 W RMS into 8 ohms (0.5% THD) and 120W RMS into 4 ohms (0.5% THD). The amplifier has a maximum output current of 11 Amps per channel. The total harmonic Distortion of this Amplifier is 0.05%, 70 W into 8 ohms. It has a 775 mV Input Sensitivity (Phono) with an output Impedance 1.5uH, 0.05 ohms. Frequency Responses of this amplifier are 3Hz to 50 kHz +0dB/-3dB.
The noise level of this Quad 99 Stereo Power Amplifier is 110dB (20Hz-20kHz) and the dimensions of the compact device are 70mm (H) x 321mm (W) x 310mm (D). This power amplifier is fully protected against over-driving or misuse. It can be safely used to drive most types of loudspeaker, both Quad’s own ESL models and conventional models made by other makers.
