Featuring audiophile components throughout its circuitry for the best possible sound performance, the new Rotel RC-1570 stereo preamplifier is more than just an analogue pre-amp - it also has a 24 bit 192kHz Wolfson DAC on board so that both digital and analogue sources can be accepted, adding flexibility and future-proofing to the RC1570's appeal.

The rear panel provides extensive connectivity for both analogue and digital sources - four unbalanced analogue inputs on RCA phono connectors allow for the connection of line-level stereo sources, whilst there is also a fully balanced input via XLR sockets, ideal for connecting the balanced outputs of the matching RCD-1570 CD player for example. In addition, a high quality moving magnet phono input gives a suitable interface to a turntable.

Four digital inputs can be found, two optical and two coaxial, plus a front and rear mounted USB input for PC connectivity using iTunes or Windows Media Player - all of these inputs can handle 24-bit 192kHz resolution files, so that lossless files can be streamed for maximum sound quality. A Bluetooth dongle is included which plugs into the USB input to allow wireless streaming of music files from your phone or tablet.

The discrete component circuitry of the RC1570 has been very carefully laid out to maximise the signal to noise ratio, which results in a very open, transparent and detailed sound presentation. This is further aided by a very stable regulated power supply capable of supplying high currents when required, for example during musical peaks.
