Ruark Audio BackPack 3
With its battery status display and improved power management, R1 Mk4 works even better and longer with the optional BackPack 3 which means you can enjoy R1’s rich mains-powered performance where mains power is unavailable.
BackPack 3 attaches seamlessly to R1 and once fitted can be left permanently in place as it charges automatically whenever mains power is re-applied. A full charge will provide up to twelve hours of mains-free listening depending on the volume.
The latest version of the BackPack is designed to give your Ruark Audio R1 or MR1 speakers the freedom of being completely portable. Integrated batteries to the speakers as standard would take up too much room and would result in an unrefined sound. Ruark combats this by building the BackPack III, an external power source that allows the R1 and MR1 to keep the standard of performance from the mains, but makes it entirely portable.
Who is Ruark?
Ruark Audio is a family-owned British company, founded in 1986, well known for its specialist speakers ranges, now specialising in compact lifestyle radio systems. The company found massive success with the launch of its first unit, the R1, which has since evolved into its third rendition. Shortly after the R1 was launched, a multitude of larger and more prolific products began to appear on Ruark's catalogue and soon after, the same products would be seen in kitchens, bedrooms, offices and living rooms all over the world.

UK Delivery
Providing your item is in stock, the order is usually dispatched within 24 hours. Postage and packing is completely free for orders over £99*. Out of stock items will be dispatched as soon as they become available, which can take between 4 to 21 days
UK Delivery orders are sent via our couriers' DPD Local on a next-day-delivery service and usually take between 1 and 3 days.

Click & Collect
We offer a free ‘Click & Collect’ service on all items. As soon as your order has been completed and is ready for collection a member of our team will be in contact with you. Orders can be collected from our store at 11 King Street, Hereford, HR4 9BW.
