The S2 series shelving and aluminium poles give off a rather smart design, Solid Steel utilises the use of MDF when it comes to the shelving and the new aluminium poles are non-welded, the reason being that aluminium is lighter than most other products out there that use steel, it's very strong, non-magnetic and excellent for noise damping. The reason for these poles being non-welded is that there is potential for unwanted energy or vibrations which will develop deep in hollow welded points, removing this aspect will completely eliminate this from happening which is a great step in the right direction.
