Following on from the legendary Sonos One, the Era 100 continues with the handy size and class-leading music streaming control, but now offers even better sound and connectivity. Just like the One, the Sonos Era 100 suits a massive range of applications. From desktop, kitchen or bedside audio to stereo or even home cinema surround sound, the Era 100 makes a perfect choice.

The Sonos app is one of the most popular and well-loved out there. Bringing together your favourite music streaming services, via one easy-to-use app, makes Sonos ownership a pleasure. Compatible with Apple Music, Spotify, Pandora and the exclusive Sonos Radio, the Era 100 delivers near-limitless streaming music.

New for the Era 100 is Bluetooth music connectivity. Ideal for when friends and family visit and you want quick and easy music-sharing connectivity, Bluetooth is also handy for when your wi-fi may be down, or for when you want to take your music to a spot with no wi-fi coverage.

Featuring AirPlay 2, you can stream directly from your Apple devices or ask Siri to play your favourites from Apple Music throughout your home.

*Purchase a Sonos Line-In Adapter (available separately) and connect your music source to the Era 100 via the USB-C interface. Ideal for plugging in a CD player, TV or pre-amp equipped turntable*, this connection makes the speaker a whole lot more versatile than before.

Featuring twin, angled tweeters and custom waveguides, you get a much wider spread of sound. Stereo separation is improved, getting closer to how it sounded when it was recorded in the studio. The wider spread of sound also means that more of the people in the room hear more of the music.

With its 25% larger bass woofer (compared to Sonos One), the Era 100 digs deeper and goes louder. The extra bass is present at all volume levels meaning that, even at low volumes, you benefit from a full-bodied, richer sound.

As good as a single Era 100 sounds, you’ll get even better results with two. Paired in stereo mode, the sound becomes much more enveloping, drawing you deeper into the music. With two speakers, you also get a better-balanced sound in larger rooms.

For the best possible sound, in any environment, simply tap up Trueplay. Located within the Sonos app, Trueplay scans the surroundings, analyses the results and then fine-tunes the speaker for the ideal listening experience.

As we’ve not always got our smartphone to hand (when taking a phone call for example), the Era 100 offers intuitive touch control. Simply tap or swipe the top panel controls and play/pause the music, adjust the volume or group speakers.

Sonos S2 App

Your Sonos Device will have to be connected to your Wifi through an easy guided tutorial. The App is very simplistic to use, simply head over to your app store and download the Sonos S2 App; once downloaded, at the bottom of the screen, press on 'Rooms' and press your Sonos device. Once selected, press on 'Search' on the bottom of the screen and then you have the freedom to search for any song you desire; internet radio, blogs and podcasts are also readily available for you to listen to as well.
